Episode 50 “Death”
As zeppelins rain bombs upon London during World War I, Edward and his father flee the city. As they watch the attack from a distance, Hohenheim explains that in this world, the other side of the Gate, the science of physics has developed instead of alchemy, and that Ed must open the smaller version of the Gate within himself in order to return to his true home. Meanwhile, with Hawkeye’s help, Mustang sneaks into the FĂĽhrer’s mansion to confront him and avenge Hughes’s death.

Hell no, I can’t die! I still have to help Al get his body back! (what was the point of surviving all those episodes if I end up dying here? I’m not finished accomplishing what I’ve been trying to do all along!) Damn, this is what should happen: the one bleeding on the floor should turn into my decoy in a flash of blue light, and I should emerge next to Al, and
say,
“Hehe, It’ll take more than that to kill me, bastard! You’ve underestimated me, Envy. If what you say, Dante, is true, then I have a good idea I know who you are Envy, but now that I’ve figured it all out, I have to say…I could care less! Al’s my only brother, and he’ll stay that way! (unless my dad marries someone else) Needless to say, I’m not giving you the pleasure to kill me, at least until I’ve got Al’s body back, so to put it bluntly, I’m gonna kick your-!” You know what I mean.
