   havent seen many that has been this good all the way thought the entire anime, and the movie is really got some goodthings to, really hope they will make anime just as perfect done as this one.

Through all the episodes I’ve always skipped that part…but this time…this time…it just added to the dramaticness! *cries* I can’t believe this is how it ends!!!!!!

    Honestly, you have no reason to be unhappy, any of you. Al got his body back, albeit no memories of the past four years, but I think Ed would think that were best anyway. Ed may be on the other side of the gate, too, but in case no one noticed, he says “I WILL find a way; we’ll be together soon Al” in the same tone he did at the start of the series when speaking humbly of finding the Philosopher’s stone. Both are said with such certainty you can’t help but just know that he will find a way. This is clearly an open-ended finish, but with definite lean on one outcome; in fact, I think this was actually the best ending they could have had.

    P.S. Alphonse94 if you get this worked up over an only slightly (as in miniscule) sad ending, don’t go watching Elfen Lied, now…

    In the 20th volume of the manga, creator Arakawa announced that a second Fullmetal Alchemist anime television series is currently being produced. Bones would produce the new series with Yasuhiro Irie as director and Hiroshi ÅŒnogi as writer. It was subsequently announced through various trailers on MBS and TBS’s broadcasts of the Sunrise series Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and the series’ official website, that the new series would premiere on April 5, 2009 on MBS-TBS’ Sunday 5:00 pm JST anime timeblock, replacing Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and that voice actors Romi Park and Rie Kugimiya would reprise their roles as main characters Edward and Alphonse Elric respectively.

    i was sooooo close to crying, but it was definetly the best ending they could have. It proves the bond between the two and shows that they will find a way to get back to normal, with all of Al’s memories, his body, and ed’s arm and leg. It truely was a very epic ending.
